Sam Kimmins is a freelance landscape, travel and portrait photographer based in the UK.

All featured images are available for purchase as high quality digital prints framed and mounted. They can also be provided for commercial use as digital tiff files scanned from the original film transparency, or converted from the original file. See ‘Buying’ page for more detail.

Feel free to download images for use as desktops or other low-res applications other than printing, for your own personal use – I take them in order for people to enjoy them, rather than to sit on a dark hard drive! However, for reproduction, presentations, or other commercial use, copyright permission is required – please remember it can take a huge amount of time and effort to create some of these photos!

Photos featured on this site are from a wide range of locations around the globe, taken on a range of digital and film SLRs, and a cheap little Russian LOMO using cross-processed slide film

Time and memory permitting, I’ve given a short description of how the photo was taken – both context and techie stuff, which I hope will be interesting and/or useful

Commercial or Advertising Usage

For commercial or advertising usage all images are supplied as an RGB Tiff file. Images are supplied burned to a cd with a file size of 100 Mb at a print resolution of 400dpi, and are priced for single or multiple licence usage depending on application.

Framed Prints

All images are available as high quality digital prints framed and mounted. Prints are printed at between 300 - 400dpi. Frames by arrangement – or you can go with these standard sizes, with mount;
